Job summary

Vindex is seeking a Security Engineer to maintain strong relationships with blue chip customers and service CCTV and Access Control systems, with possible installation work. The role involves visiting customer sites, working with teammates, and presenting a professional image of the company.

The successful candidate should have three years in security, enjoy problem solving, and be keen to learn new Enterprise solutions while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience within the Security Industry working on CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems.
• CCure and Genetec are not essential but strongly preferred; training provided for other systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and a proactive attitude toward learning.

Role Overview

To maintain strong relationships with our blue chip customers and the maintenance/servicing of their CCTV and Access Control systems; there may be a small element of some installation/commissioning work. This role will involve visiting customer sites and requires the successful applicant to be customer-focused. The individual must work as part of a team and interact with colleagues, clients, and other trades professionally, presenting a positive image of the Company. The Security Engineer will report to the Service Delivery Manager and will involve close liaison with the Customer Service Team. Most importantly, the successful applicant will want to improve their skills, seek training on new and existing Enterprise solutions, and develop a career.

Experience

At least three years’ experience within the Security Industry working on CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems.
