Job summary

Alecto Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Security Engineer to cover Essex and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain, fault-find, repair and perform small installations on CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across commercial sites.

You will manage your own diary, work independently and maintain high workmanship and customer service standards. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Engineer.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience servicing CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault finding on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Carry out small installation works and system upgrades.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Complete service reports and required documentation.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

The Role

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and small installation works on a range of electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

You will work independently, managing your own diary while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Duties Include
