Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Security Operations Manager in Northampton to oversee the branch's day-to-day operations, deliver against the business plan and support regional growth. You will lead staff, maintain high service standards and manage customer relationships to ensure targets are met.

The role requires a full driving licence and at least two years in the security sector, with the ability to adapt hours and work on a rota basis as Duty Manager.

Security Operations Manager - Northampton

Hours: 45 hrs per week - Monday to Friday (Flexibility will be required as the hours will be varied)

Mitie are currently looking to recruit a Security Operations Manager to oversee the branch and business plan ensuring the division are delivering to agreed objectives/targets.

Our Operations Manager will be assisting with managing the day to day operational running of the branch through effective management of staff and customers. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Regional Management Team to provide excellent customer service, employee satisfaction and ensure that all business-related tasks are completed in a timely fashion - further ensuring regional operational growth plans.

The main duties of our Operations Manager will include (but not be limited to):

• Ensuring employee welfare checks are completed
• Help complete monthly branch-based business report
• To recruit, motivate and train all employees operating out of the branch ensuring correct manning and optimal resource profiles
• Manage customer requirements through provision of visit reports where required
• Conduct and monitor staff appraisals of direct reports. Set clear objectives, support and develop all direct reports and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place
• Build, maintain and manage positive relationships
• Act as Duty Manager for the manned guarding business in branch on a rota basis with other Operational Managers

Our Operations Manager will ideally have:

• Full driving licence
• At least 2 years security industry experience
