Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer based at Tesco DC Greenford. You will protect people, property and assets, control access, patrol the site and respond to incidents with professionalism across day, night and weekend shifts.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, BS7858 vetting, and the right to work in the UK, plus prior security experience and strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.
