Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is recruiting a Security Officer for Cockhedge Shopping Centre in Warrington. This permanent support role covers weekend, holiday, and sickness across the site.

The successful candidate will help keep the centre, retailers, staff and visitors safe, with responsibilities including opening up, patrolling, CCTV monitoring, and assisting shoppers. Applicants must hold both the SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licences and have excellent communication and a professional

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open up and secure the shopping centre.

Location: Cockhedge Shopping Centre, WA1 2QH
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week, Monday - Sunday

• 06:30 - 14:30
• 14:30 - 22:30

About the Role

We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Cockhedge Shopping Centre, Warrington. This is a support position providing weekend cover, holiday cover, and sickness cover across the site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the shopping centre, its retailers, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening up and securing the shopping centre.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents.
• Conducting regular patrols throughout the centre.
• Assisting retailers with security-related issues and queries.
• Supporting members of the public and providing excellent customer service.
• Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate incident and patrol records.
• Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at all times.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous security experience in a retail or shopping centre environment is desirable.

Shift Pattern

• Weekend working plus holiday and sickness cover.
• 06:30 - 14:30
• 14:30 - 22:30
