Firmdale Hotels, including Ham Yard Hotel, is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to safeguard guests and colleagues. You will maintain vigilance in public areas, deliver a warm and professional welcome, and support the hotel’s reputation for exceptional service.

The role requires a valid SIA license, strong knowledge of London, and flexibility to work Tue–Sat, 4:00 pm–12:00 am, with a focus on safety and guest experience. Benefits include service charges and wellness programs.

As a Security Officer at Ham Yard Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the tranquillity and security of our esteemed establishment. Your primary focus will be to safeguard our guests and team members, extending a warm and professional welcome to all who enter our doors.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a constant presence in the courtyard and guest lobby areas, remaining vigilant to identify and address any potential risks or concerns, ensuring a safe environment for all.
• Providing recommendations and promoting our hotel facilities to enhance the guest experience, showcasing the exceptional amenities available.
• Collaborating seamlessly with fellow team members to uphold our commitment to unparalleled service and guest satisfaction.
• Embodying our values of integrity and excellence, consistently delivering exceptional customer service with a proactive and adaptable approach.

What you Need

• A valid SIA License, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high standards of security.
• A solid knowledge of London, allowing you to navigate the city with ease and assist guests with local recommendations.
• A flexible work ethic, capable of adapting to a 8-hour shift pattern (5 days on, 2 days off) with hours between 4:00 pm and 12:00 am - Tuesday to Saturday.
• Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression of warmth and professionalism.
• A collaborative spirit, ready to contribute to a cohesive team environment dedicated to excellence.
