Job summary

Firmdale Hotels is seeking a dedicated Valet to join the Ham Yard Hotel's esteemed Housekeeping team in London. You will help maintain the hotel’s high standards, support laundry duties and guest-focused service throughout shifts.

With a flair for organisation and a can-do attitude, you will assist in daily operations, manage uniforms, and respond flexibly to department needs while upholding outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment in the housekeeping department.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating cooperation and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and pressing.
• Handle sewing tasks and minor garment repairs as needed.
• Organise and manage team members uniforms, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area.
• Flexibly respond to the needs of the department and use your initiative to solve problems.
