Job summary

Smile Digital is seeking an experienced Security Engineer for its London team. The role covers CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom systems with a mix of planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding, remedial works and minor upgrades across residential, local authority, education and commercial sites.

The position offers a company vehicle and benefits, with standard working hours from 8am to 5pm and an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience servicing electronic security systems.
• Strong CCTV experience required.
• Experience with access control systems.
• Experience with door entry/intercom systems.
• Confident at reactive fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently and manage on-call rota.

• Maintain, service and fault-find CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom systems across diverse environments.
• Carry out planned maintenance, reactive call-outs and minor upgrades.

Security Engineer Fire & Security — London - £39,000 to £46,000 DOE

Established and growing Fire & Security business looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join its London team.

This is a service-focused role covering CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom systems, with a mixture of planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding, remedial works and minor upgrades.

You will be working across residential, local authority, education and commercial environments.

Key requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience servicing electronic security systems
• Strong CCTV experience
• Access control experience
• Door entry/intercom experience
• Confident reactive fault finding
• Able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence

Experience with systems such as Paxton, PAC, Videx, Intratone, Entrotec, Hikvision, Hanwha, Dahua and Texecom would be useful.
