Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a seasoned Fire & Security Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. You will install, commission and service fire and security systems, and support call-outs with a strong problem-solving approach.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in the field, hands-on experience with IP CCTV, alarms and access control, and a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary (£45k-£55k) with OTE up to £70k and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience across intruder alarms, fire systems, IP CCTV, access control and video entry systems.
• Experience working with manufacturers/systems including Pyronix, Galaxy, Hanwha, Paxton, Hikvision and Aiphone.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission a range of integrated systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, IP CCTV, access control and video entry systems.
• Attend call-outs, diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs using strong practical problem-solving skills.
• Complete all company paperwork accurately, on time and to the required standards.
• Work safely and consistently in line with company health & safety requirements.
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Apply a good working understanding of NSI codes of practice.
• Participate in a 24/7 call-out rota, providing engineering support to specified sites.

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a Tier One company, working across London and surrounding areas.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 – £55,000 salary, depending on experience.
