Job summary

Smile Digital is seeking a Security Engineer to service CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom systems. The role emphasises reactive maintenance and fault finding over heavy installation work, with field duties across the Thames Valley and occasional Central London travel.

You will typically cover multiple sites, require a full UK driving licence, and be comfortable working independently while delivering excellent service and support.

Security Engineer CCTV, Alarm Systems — Thames Valley - £37,000 to £44,000 DOE

Field-based Security Engineer role covering the Thames Valley region with some Central London travel.

This is a security-focused position covering CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom, with an emphasis on service, reactive maintenance and fault finding rather than installation-heavy project work.

Key requirements:

• Security systems service experience
• Strong CCTV knowledge
• Access control experience
• Door entry/intercom experience
• Reactive fault finding
• Confident independent working
• Full UK driving licence
• Happy covering some Central London sites

Experience with Paxton, PAC, Videx, Intratone, Entrotec, Hikvision, Hanwha, Dahua, Axis or Avigilon would be useful.
