Job summary

Smile Digital is recruiting a Security Engineer for the London area to service CCTV, access control and door entry systems. The role involves a mix of planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding and minor upgrades across residential, local authority, education and commercial sites.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in electronic security, strong CCTV and door entry/intercom experience, a valid UK driving licence, and be comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience servicing electronic security systems.
• Experience with CCTV systems is essential.
• Experience with access control systems.
• Experience with door entry/intercom systems.
• Confident in reactive fault finding.
• Able to work independently.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence.

Security Engineer Fire & Security — London - £39,000 to £46,000 DOE

Established and growing Fire & Security business looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join its London team.

This is a service-focused role covering CCTV, access control and door entry/intercom systems, with a mixture of planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding, remedial works and minor upgrades.

You will be working across residential, local authority, education and commercial environments.

Key requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience servicing electronic security systems
• Strong CCTV experience
• Access control experience
• Door entry/intercom experience
• Confident reactive fault finding
• Able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence

Experience with systems such as Paxton, PAC, Videx, Intratone, Entrotec, Hikvision, Hanwha, Dahua and Texecom would be useful.

Working hours are broadly 8am to 5pm, door to door, with participation in an on-call rota
