Job summary

Amulet in Woolwich is seeking a Security & Enforcement Team Lead to supervise a patrol team at designated stations, ensuring passenger safety and compliance with railway by-laws. The role involves a visible presence and reducing fare evasion.

You will work on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, 9-hour days, 40 hours per week, on a 16-week fixed-term contract. SIA door supervisor licence and enhanced vetting required.

Qualifications

Job description

PAY RATE:

£20.00 per hour

HOURS:

40hrs per week 4 on 2 off 9hrs a day a mixture of early and late shifts
16 weeks Fixed Term Contract

THE ROLE:

To lead and supervise a team of Security & Enforcement Officers, ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of passengers and staff. A key element of this work is to enforce railway bye laws on behalf of our client. You will provide a visible presence at nominated station with the aim of reducing fare evasion, and help keep the station safe for staff and passengers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• At all times challenge the following behaviours:
• Tailgating, begging, and trespass.
• Ticketless travel, including attempted ticketless travel.
• Consumption of alcohol or prohibited substances on our client premises.
• Smoking or vaping on our client premises.
• Safeguarding, staff and passengers at location
• Enforcing railway byelaws
• Lead and supervise the security team
• Ensure officers follow company policies and railway procedures.
• Ensuring high standards of service and compliance.

• Prior experience in security or enforcement roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• SIA door supervisor Licence required
• Enhanced police vetting is also required

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
