Job summary

Amulet in London seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee LCOR operations at Upminster, managing day-to-day rail security tasks, incidents, and liaising with the Operations Managers. The role requires SIA licensing and strong organisational, communication and IT skills.

The position offers 05:00–15:00 shifts at a rate of £15.06 per hour, with benefits including training, uniform, pension and paid holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise all services at the LCOR.
• Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly with the client team.
• Oversee data sharing agreements and incident reporting systems via Modus.
• Monitor real-time emergency software and incidents reporting.
• Oversee tagging patrols and live contract room updates.
• Liaise with management, staff and contractors to ensure smooth contract operations.
• Troubleshoot site issues and escalate to Amulet Line Manager as needed.

PAY RATE:

£15.06 per hour

HOURS:

Days 05:00- 15:00

THE ROLE:

To supervise the LCOR at Upminster on the day-to-day rail operations, leading on security incidents and issues, Gateline, Glimpse, Lateness, liaising with the Operation Managers in their fields, ensuring smooth running of the contract in accordance with the Assignment Instructions, rostering and personnel issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise all services at the LCOR.
• Ensure day-to-day operations are running at the LCOR with client Team.
• Ensure that the data sharing agreements are in place and the ability to share through our proxy, which includes personnel, emergency software and our incidents reporting systems through Modus.
• Supervise staff book Ons, real time Emergency software which include Incidents, accidents, emergencies and evacuations with real time support.
• Actively and effectively monitor tagging patrols using the necessary software.
• Manage and maintain the contract control room, including Live tagging of stations, Blueprint, Modus incident reporting, real time book on/off.
• Understanding logo soft and producing reports when required.
• Liaise with the client, building effective working relationships with management, staff, contractors, site tenants and their representatives, to ensure smooth running of the contract.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues – blowouts, conflict situations, etc. – in an efficient and consistent way in accordance with company policy, escalating to Amulet Line Manager as appropriate.

SKILLS:

• You are capable of problem-solving, dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused
• You have evidence of strong organizational and time management skills
• You can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
• You are vigilant and take a “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks
• You are computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications
• You must know how to use excel

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Possession of a SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
• Possession of a SIA CCTV licence is desirable

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
