Job summary

Amulet is seeking an experienced security officer for our prestigious client. The role covers front of house security, concierge meet & greet, and staff/customer security checks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for information, performing patrols, managing access control, and responding to incidents with professionalism. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Frontline security experience and customer service focus.
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required at present or soon.
• Optional First Aid at Work certification is desirable.

PAY RATE:

£13.45 per hour

HOURS:

Weekdays Term time only
Monday – 17:00 -21:15
Tuesday – 17:00 – 21:15
Wednesday – 18:00 to 21:15
Thursday – 18:00 to 21:15

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced security officer for our prestigious client. Taking pride in providing a professional security service to our client, you will undertake a range of duties to include front of house security; concierge meet & greet of customers, visitors and contractors; staff and customer security check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a first point of contact for customer information
• Physical patrols ensuring a safe environment.
• Creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Responding to customer inquiries or requests
• Implement and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damages.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies or disturbances, taking appropriate action and liaising with law enforcement when necessary.
• Manage access control systems, ensuring only authorised personnel enter restricted areas maintaining the security of entrances and exists.
• Resolving any issues or complaints in a friendly and professional manner
• Working alongside a team
• Maintain detailed records of security related incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed, providing necessary information and support during investigations

SKILLS:

• You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
• You have evidence of strong organizational and time management skills.
• You can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• You take a “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks.
• You are computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• You must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
