Job Description:

Hawksworth is looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm. The position is remote within the UK, with occasional travel to Belfast or London for meetings. Salary will be discussed based on experience, skills, and availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and improve the efficacy of current DLP tooling
• Manage capacity and tool maintenance programs
• Collaborate with a global team and business owners to align with technical standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience with enterprise DLP technologies: Microsoft Purview, M365, Proofpoint
• Hands-on experience in writing data classification and protection policies
• Knowledge of data classification methodologies and compliance frameworks
• Understanding of security DLP best practices and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA
• Proficiency with M365
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred
