Job Description:

Hawksworth is looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm.

The position will be remote in the UK, with infrequent travel to Belfast or London for meetups or important face-to-face meetings. Salary to be discussed with the candidate based on level, skills, and availability.

Job Description:

The Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer will monitor the use and efficacy of current tooling, ensure an improvement program is in place, and manage capacity and tool maintenance. The role involves working with a global team and business owners to align with technical standards.

Required skills & experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience working in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience with enterprise DLP technologies: proficiency in implementing and managing DLP solutions, including Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint technologies
• Hands-on experience in writing policies for Data Classification and Protection, with knowledge of data classification methodologies and compliance frameworks
• An understanding of security DLP best practices and frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations for large organizations
• Experienced in M365
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred
