Job Description:

Hawksworth is looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm.

The position is remote in the UK, with infrequent travel to Belfast or London for meetups or important face-to-face meetings. Salary will be discussed with the candidate based on level, skill, and availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the use and efficacy of current DLP tooling.
• Ensure an improvement program is in place.
• Manage capacity and tool maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with a global team and business owners to align with technical standards.

Required skills & experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise DLP technologies: proficiency in implementing and managing DLP solutions, including Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint.
• Hands-on experience in writing data classification and protection policies, with knowledge of data classification methodologies and compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of security DLP best practices and frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations for large organizations.
• Experienced with M365.
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred.
