Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer - Remote (UK) - Permanent, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Hawksworth is seeking a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm.

The role is remote within the UK, with infrequent travel to Belfast or London for meetings. Salary will be discussed based on experience, skills, and availability.

Job Description:

The Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer will oversee the effectiveness of current DLP tools, manage improvement initiatives, and coordinate with global teams and business owners to ensure alignment with technical standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 3-5 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
2. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3. Experience with enterprise DLP technologies, including Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint
4. Hands-on experience in policy development, data classification, and protection methodologies
5. Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA
6. Proficiency with M365
7. Certifications like Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred
