Hawksworth is looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm.

The position is remote in the UK, with infrequent travel to Belfast or London for meetups or important face-to-face meetings. Salary will be discussed with the candidate based on experience, skills, and availability.

Job Description:

The Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer will monitor the use and effectiveness of current tools, ensure an improvement program is in place, and manage capacity and tool maintenance. The role involves working with a global team and business owners to align with technical standards.

Required skills & experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience with enterprise DLP technologies, including implementing and managing solutions like Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint
• Hands-on experience in writing policies for Data Classification and Protection, with knowledge of data classification methodologies and compliance frameworks
• Understanding of DLP best practices and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc., for large organizations
• Experienced with Microsoft 365 (M365)
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred
