Job Description:

Hawksworth is seeking a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a global law firm.

The role is remote within the UK, with occasional travel to Belfast or London for meetups or face-to-face meetings. Salary will be discussed with the candidate based on experience, skills, and availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the effectiveness of current Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and implement improvement programs.
• Manage capacity planning and tool maintenance.
• Collaborate with a global team and business owners to ensure alignment with technical standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise DLP technologies such as Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint.
• Hands-on experience in writing data classification and protection policies, understanding of classification methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of security DLP best practices and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Proficiency with M365.
• Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred.
