Job summary

An educational service provider in Wokingham is seeking a flexible and experienced Secondary Tutor. In this role, you will teach students in a 1:1 setting, helping them integrate back into mainstream education and complete their GCSEs. Qualified candidates should have a PGCE with QTS, an Enhanced DBS, and experience with children facing various educational and mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching in the UK.
• Knowledge of SEN & SEMH support.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Job description

Remedy Tutors are looking for a flexible, experienced, and qualified Secondary Tutor to help Secondary kids fulfill their true potential and integrate them back into mainstream to complete their GCSEs.

You will be teaching face-to-face in a 1:1 setting, either at the child's home with a parent or carer present, or in a local library, or in a private room in a school. You will be helping kids that suffer with various difficulties, including ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, etc.

You will also have to guide and support kids suffering with various mental health issues, such as Depression, Anxiety, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• PGCE with a QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• 2 years experience teaching in the UK
• Knowledge of SEN & SEMH support
