Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support KS3/KS4 in Bradford mainstream schools. The role covers day-to-day and long-term placements, providing general classroom assistance and targeted 1:1 support to keep students engaged and making progress.

Ideal candidates will have experience with secondary pupils, strong communication and behaviour management, and a proactive attitude. Our team offers 24/7 consultant support, CPD opportunities and market-leading pay rates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students within a school setting.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £90 - 105 per day

We are looking to recruit a Secondary Teaching Assistant for both day-to-day and long-term opportunities. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will work across KS3 and KS4 classrooms, providing general classroom support alongside targeted 1:1 support where required, helping students remain engaged and make positive progress throughout the school day.

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students within a school setting
• Confidence supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Experience providing effective 1:1 support
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
