Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is partnered with Powys secondary schools to recruit qualified teachers (QTS) for temporary or permanent positions with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and foster a positive learning environment that helps pupils reach their full potential across Key Stage 3 and KS4. Immediate start and ongoing support available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales.
• Experience teaching within a Secondary School setting (desirable).
• Strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and classroom expectations.
• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• A flexible, patient and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their full potential.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with Secondary Schools in Powys, who are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teachers (QTS). The schools provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, independence and academic achievement.

TeacherActive is looking to take on motivated Qualified Teachers on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Qualified Teacher will support pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment that encourages all pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful Qualified Teacher will have:
