Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a motivated Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join our partner Powys secondary schools in Wales. Immediate start with responsibilities across KS3 and KS4, including planning, delivering engaging lessons and assessing pupil progress.

The successful candidate will hold QTS recognised in Wales, possess strong classroom and behaviour management, and communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff. A flexible, patient approach and passion for education are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales.
• Experience teaching within a Secondary School setting (desirable).
• Strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and classroom expectations.
• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with Secondary Schools in Powys, who are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teachers (QTS). The schools provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, independence and academic achievement.

TeacherActive is looking to take on motivated Qualified Teachers on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Qualified Teacher will support pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment that encourages all pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful Qualified Teacher will have:
