Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a range of North Powys schools in Newtown and surrounding areas. This role covers day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements with immediate starts available.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, maintain excellent classroom management and support pupils of all abilities. QTS is required; NQTs welcome; UK primary experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS; NQTs welcome to apply
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of KS1/KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management
• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS1 and KS2
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
