Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a General Secondary Teacher with QTS to provide flexible, day-to-day teaching across mainstream secondary schools in Cardiff and surrounding areas. You will cover planned and unplanned absences, delivering prepared lessons with strong classroom management and effective communication.

Role offers daily pay and the opportunity to work across a variety of subjects in different schools, with support from a 24/7 consultant team and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a General Secondary Teacher to commence in September 2027. This role involves covering both planned and unexpected staff absences across multiple subjects. It is ideal for educators who thrive on variety, quickly build positive relationships with students and colleagues, and confidently deliver pre-prepared lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management.
