Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a large secondary school in Walsall. You will work 1-2-1 and in small groups, focusing on students with SEN, in the SEND hub and regular classrooms.

Ideally holding a Level 3 TA qualification with SEND experience and a valid DBS, you will join a team committed to excellent education and positive outcomes for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• SEND experience essential.
• Must hold a valid DBS.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with additional needs on a 1-2-1 and whole class basis.
• Understanding a range of additional needs.
• Working as a Classroom Assistant/Teaching Assistant in a secondary school.
• Supporting students in the SEND hub when they are unable to attend lessons.
• Assisting with behaviour management and communication.
