The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Birmingham. You will work closely with teachers and SEND professionals to help pupils access learning and to develop confidence and independence.
You will provide targeted support, often one-to-one or in small groups, and adapt your approach to meet individual needs. The role focuses on creating a safe, positive learning environment and contributing to pupils' day-to-day success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants to work closely with pupils with additional needs and play a genuine part in their learning, development and day-to-day success.
You will provide a combination of classroom, small-group and individual support, working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals to help pupils access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
Experience working with pupils with SEND is highly desirable, particularly within a special school, specialist provision or similar setting. However, we are also keen to hear from strong mainstream Teaching Assistants who have a genuine interest in developing their SEND experience.
Appointments will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, including enhanced DBS checks and references.
