Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient English teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in Birmingham. The role covers KS3 and KS4 English, planning and delivering engaging lessons to help students develop strong literacy and language skills.

Secondary English Teacher

Contract: Full-time

Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient English teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 English, with the expectation of planning and delivering engaging English lessons to support students in developing a strong understanding of Literature and Language. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to become permanent if successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in English – able to teach to KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff
