Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Bury for an English Teacher / Cover Supervisor starting in September. The role runs 08:30 to 15:30 and offers a day rate of £168 - £232 depending on experience.

You will deliver English across KS3/KS4, plan and assess progress, and provide general classroom cover when required, while supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Confident managing classrooms and engaging learners of varying abilities.
