Job summary

Milk Education are seeking a committed Maths teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths, planning and delivering engaging lessons to build a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.

Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient Maths teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths, with the expectation to plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to support students in developing a strong understanding of Mathematical concepts. This is a full-time position, starting asap, with the opportunity to become permanent if successful.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Mathematics – able to teach to KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
