Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Second Line IT Support professional to join its IT team. You will provide 2nd line support across a modern Microsoft environment, assisting with infrastructure, security and IT projects.

You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 issues, Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange Online, while supporting server, cloud and network administration.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange Online.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and VPNs.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Intune, Hyper-V/VMware and Backup and Disaster Recovery Technologies would be desirable.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues.
Troubleshoot desktop, networking, printer and remote access problems.
Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams.
Assist with server, cloud and network administration.
Support software deployments, upgrades and IT projects.
Apply security updates and assist with cyber security initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and deliver excellent customer service.
