Job summary
TipTopJob in Birmingham is seeking a Second Line IT Support professional to join its growing IT team. You will work across a modern Microsoft environment, providing support to users while assisting with infrastructure, security and IT projects.
The role requires hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID and Exchange Online. A full UK driving licence is desirable and you’ll collaborate with colleagues on a range of tech initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and Exchange Online.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and VPNs.
- Experience supporting end-user devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Nice to have Intune, Hyper-V, VMware, and Backup/DR.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Troubleshoot desktop, networking, printer and remote access problems.
- Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams.
- Assist with server, cloud and network administration.
- Support software deployments, upgrades and IT projects.
- Apply security updates and assist with cyber security initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and deliver excellent customer service.
