Zusammenfassung

Runwood Homes is seeking a Second Chef to join our Hospitality team. You will deliver hotel and restaurant standard meals to residents, without split shifts and long hours.

We value warm, motivated chefs with high standards, capable of leading in the Head Chef's absence and ensuring dietary requirements are met. Applicants should have Food Hygiene Level 2, NVQ Level 2 preferred, and a passion for quality care.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a catering environment.
• Understanding of dietary and nutritional requirements for residents.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (NVQ Level 2 preferred) is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Maintain high standards of food preparation for residents.
• Cook and serve meals in line with the menu and Company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations (England/Northern Ireland where applicable).
• Ensure quality of meals in presentation and taste.
• Maintain portion control to minimize waste.
• Meet individual dietary requirements by following charts/recipes or adapting dishes.
• Deputise for Head Chef when required.
