Crerar Hotels Balmoral Arms is seeking a Second Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food and leading a small, productive team. You will train staff, ensure strict hygiene standards, and contribute to menu development in a fast-paced environment.

Based at Balmoral Arms in Scotland, the role offers staff accommodation and opportunities to progress within Crerar Hotels. A can-do attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high standards.
• Strong food hygiene knowledge and HACCP compliance.
• Ability to train and develop staff for continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Support Head Chef to uphold high kitchen standards.
• Prepare and portion food for service with accuracy.
• Assist in creating new dishes and menus.
• Provide leadership and training to the team.
• Ensure hygiene, safety and stock control are maintained.
• Monitor waste, control portion sizes and manage costs.
