Balhousie Care Group is seeking a Chef to lead the kitchen team in our care home in Methil, Scotland. You will create delicious, nutritious meals, design menus, manage stock and budget, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to support residents’ wellbeing.

You will be reliable, able to cater for special dietary needs, and committed to delivering person-centred hospitality within the agreed budget for an excellent resident experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment and care setting is required.
• Ability to cater for special dietary needs within budget.
• Reliable and able to lead kitchen duties to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to prepare nutritious meals for residents.
• Design menus and manage stock and budget effectively.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene per regulations.
