Job summary

Crerar Hotels in Scotland and the Lake District is seeking a dynamic Head Chef to lead our Rosette-standard kitchen team. You will drive culinary excellence, oversee menu design and ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests.

As Head Chef, you’ll collaborate with the General Manager to optimise profitability while maintaining the highest standards. Senior-level Rosette experience and a passion for developing talent are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous senior-level experience is essential, ideally within a Rosette kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to design menus and manage a kitchen to profitability.
• Excellent communication and high standards of food quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rosette-standard kitchen team and manage all kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with General Manager to drive profitability while maintaining quality.
• Oversee menu design, food preparation, presentation and costing.
• Mentor and develop kitchen staff.
