Job summary

Four Seasons Hampshire is seeking a Spa Attendant to support our festive-season operations at the GLICE skating rink. Shifts run 11:00am–7:00pm from 28 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with a dedicated team ensuring safety, welfare and exceptional service for all guests and skaters.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Confident and professional communicator who enjoys interacting with guests of all ages.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Positive, proactive and energetic approach to work.
• Previous experience within hospitality, leisure, attractions, retail, or food and beverage operations is advantageous but not essential.
• First Aid certification and ice-skating experience are preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays throughout the festive season.
• A willingness to learn and contribute wherever required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the GLICE rink and provide a friendly, professional, and engaging experience.
• Assist guests with purchasing tickets and process transactions using the POS and PDQ systems.
• Allocate skates and boots, ensuring guests are fitted with the correct sizes and equipment.
• Maintain skating equipment, ensuring boots and skates remain clean, organised, and in good condition.
• Monitor the rink to ensure the safety, welfare, and enjoyment of all skaters during public sessions.
• Assist in maintaining the GLICE rink surface, including clearing snow and undertaking rink maintenance where required.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages, including seasonal offerings such as mulled wine.
• Prepare, restock, and maintain food and beverage service areas throughout the day.
• Ensure the POS and service areas are fully prepared and ready prior to opening.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the rink, hospitality areas, equipment, and guest spaces.
• Clean and sanitise food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment in line with health and hygiene standards.
• Support the wider Spa and Leisure team as required and contribute to delivering exceptional festive experiences for our guests.
