Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is seeking a friendly Spa Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences during the festive season at our GLICE skating rink.

The role runs 28 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with shifts 11:00–19:00, supporting safety, cleanliness, and service standards across the rink and hospitality spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles preferred.
• First Aid certification and ice-skating experience are preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the GLICE rink and provide a friendly, professional experience.
• Assist guests with tickets and process transactions at POS/PDQ.
• Fit guests with skates and boots to correct sizes.
• Maintain and clean skating equipment.
• Monitor rink safety during public sessions.
• Help maintain rink surface and perform basic maintenance.
• Prepare and serve hot/cold drinks and seasonal offerings.
• Restock service areas and prep areas before service.
• Ensure readiness of POS and service areas prior to opening.
• Maintain high cleanliness across rink, hospitality areas, and spaces.
• Sanitize food surfaces and equipment per hygiene standards.
• Support Spa and Leisure team to deliver festive experiences.

Job description

As a Spa Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the festive season, with your primary focus being the operation of our popular GLICE skating rink. This seasonal position runs from 28th November 2026 to 3rd January 2027, with shifts scheduled from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure the safety, welfare, and enjoyment of all skaters and guests while maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality associated with Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences, are confident communicators, and have excellent attention to detail. What You Will Do

• Welcome guests to the GLICE rink and provide a friendly, professional, and engaging experience.
• Assist guests with purchasing tickets and process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) and PDQ systems.
• Allocate skates and boots, ensuring guests are fitted with the correct sizes and equipment.
• Maintain skating equipment, ensuring boots and skates remain clean, organised, and in good condition.
• Monitor the rink to ensure the safety, welfare, and enjoyment of all skaters during public sessions.
• Assist in maintaining the GLICE rink surface, including clearing snow and undertaking rink maintenance where required.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages, including seasonal offerings such as mulled wine.
• Prepare, restock, and maintain food and beverage service areas throughout the day.
• Ensure the POS and service areas are fully prepared and ready prior to opening.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the rink, hospitality areas, equipment, and guest spaces.
• Clean and sanitise food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment in line with health and hygiene standards.
• Support the wider Spa and Leisure team as required and contribute to delivering exceptional festive experiences for our guests.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
• A positive, proactive, and energetic approach to work.
• Previous experience within hospitality, leisure, attractions, retail, or food and beverage operations is advantageous but not essential.
• First Aid certification and ice-skating experience are preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays throughout the festive season.
• A willingness to learn and contribute wherever required.
