Job summary

Spring Supply Chain is partnering with a Newcastle-based freight forwarder to recruit an experienced Sea & Air Export Operator. You will take full ownership of shipments from start to finish and manage client accounts within a vibrant, close-knit team.

The role focuses on end-to-end sea and air export operations, including documentation, customs entries, and coordination with carriers. A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Freight Forwarder (minimum expectations).
• Sea Export Operations experience; Air Exports desirable.
• Confident managing end-to-end operations; customs entries preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sea and air export operations, with a primary focus on sea freight.
• Handle cross-trade shipments to various global destinations.
• Maintain full ownership of customer accounts and relationships.
• Complete all documentation and customs entries.
• Coordinate with carriers, agents and clients to ensure smooth transit.
• Contribute to a collaborative, hardworking team environment.
