Job summary

Premier Work Support are recruiting an Export Operator for a permanent role in the Basildon area, focusing on sea freight planning within the Export department.

You will manage the end-to-end export process, book containers, issue B/L instructions, and handle cost estimates and invoice queries. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with a requirement to demonstrate experience in export processes and busy export environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in export processes with sea freight.
• Experience in a busy export department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the export process start to finish via in house system.
• Book containers with carriers.
• Issue Bill of Lading Instructions to carriers.
• Ensure cost estimates are entered on all jobs within the correct accounting month.
• Resolve customer invoice queries and dispute any supplier invoices that are not correct.
