As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and setting appointments for our sales executives. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to generate interest in our products/services.
  • Hitting the phones - cold calling is a very important aspect of the role.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and purchasing authority through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to develop targeted prospecting strategies and refine messaging to resonate with the target audience.
  • Schedule meetings for sales leads with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Continuously learn about our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
  • Meet or exceed cold calling and email outreach targets.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for lead generation and appointment setting.
About You
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proven track record in successful prospecting is preferable.
  • Not nervous to jump on the phones and speak to anyone.
  • You leave no lead unturned.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and quotas.
  • Familiarity with using a CRM system is preferable.
