SimWest Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Scotland to take ownership of the territory, managing existing accounts and winning new business with high-value capital equipment.

You will develop relationships with business owners and engineering teams, plan a strong sales pipeline, and travel across Scotland with autonomy; salary £45k-£65k plus commission, benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial machinery or technical sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive prospecting and ability to develop business.
• Commercial awareness and ambition for technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing accounts in Scotland and promote wider portfolio.
• Identify and win new customers across Scotland.
• Build relationships with owners, engineering teams and senior decision-makers.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry to quotation, negotiation and order.
• Develop a strong sales pipeline and sustainable revenue growth.
