Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Mathematics & Science Teacher for a secondary school in Barnsley. You will deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons across KS3–KS4, assess progress, and support student attainment while collaborating with the Maths and Science departments.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong subject knowledge, and excellent classroom management. The position offers flexibility with full-time/part-time options and a DBS check.

• Experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics & Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting student achievement, and contributing to the continued success of the Maths and Science departments.

• Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments and assessment practices.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
