Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a full-time Maths & Science teacher who can confidently teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with room to grow in the areas you excel at. You will need QTS in England, recent UK secondary classroom experience, and strong knowledge in Mathematics and Science aligned to the National Curriculum and GCSE expectations.

The role includes professional support from Protocol Education and the chance to work across a variety of local secondary schools.

We are looking for a full-time Maths & Science teacher who can confidently teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to develop your teaching around the areas you are strongest in. We're not looking for someone who simply delivers a scheme of work, we want a teacher who notices when a class isn’t with them, changes direction when needed and gets students thinking.

You will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.

• A sound understanding of the English secondary education system, including the National Curriculum and GCSE expectations.
• Experience planning and delivering well-structured lessons and assessing student progress.
• The ability to establish positive relationships with students while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents and carers.
• The right to work in the UK for the duration of the appointment.
• A commitment to safeguarding, professional conduct and the wider responsibilities of working in a school.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a successful track record of teaching in UK schools and who can bring both confidence in their subject knowledge and enthusiasm to the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
