The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, follow the school's safeguarding and child-protection procedures, and respond appropriately to any concerns.
All staff are expected to understand and comply with the school's safeguarding arrangements, including the requirements contained within Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
The successful candidate will also be expected to uphold the professional expectations contained within the DfE Teachers' Standards, including promoting pupil progress, demonstrating strong subject and curriculum knowledge, managing behaviour effectively, adapting teaching to meet pupils' needs and maintaining high standards of professional and personal conduct.
