Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher for a secondary school in Doncaster. About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education, inspiring students to develop confidence in numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to progress their career within a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
  • Differentiate teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of all students.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
  • Support students in developing strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, revision sessions, and intervention programmes as required.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Previous teaching experience is desirable; ECTs are encouraged to apply.
