Job summary

Aspris Sedgemoor Manor School is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the maintenance team. You will perform reactive day-to-day maintenance on-site and grounds, and assist in supporting other homes within the community.

You will liaise with contractors on site and handle ad-hoc requests from management as necessary. The role operates five days a week with potential to spread hours across the weekend; attention to safety and COSHH is essential, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance position.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace, training provided.
• Organised, adaptable and thorough in approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive day-to-day maintenance tasks on-site and grounds.
• Liaise with contractors when on site and support other homes in the community.
• Assist management with ad-hoc requests as needed.
