Job summary

Aspris is seeking a Maintenance Assistant based at Talocher School in Wales to join our Estates team. You will help maintain the school and residential homes, coordinate external contractor works, and support health and safety with accurate maintenance records. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the school and homes are maintained to a high standard.
• Helping keep our sites safe, welcoming, and looking their best.
• Ensuring grounds are maintained to a great standard - offering support & advice to site staff.
• Coordinating works undertaken by external contractors as necessary.
• Overseeing the quality of maintenance works undertaken by external contractors, ensuring that they are completed safely, in accordance with Aspris policy and statutory regulations.
• Supporting health & safety and helping us stay audit-ready - advising and supporting the school and homes to ensure that maintenance records and compliance documentation are completed accurately.
• Taking a pro-active, hands-on approach to keep everything running smoothly.
