Aspris Children’s Services is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Estates team, based at Talocher School in Wales. You will support the School and nearby Homes to create safe, nurturing environments for young people, with a vehicle and tools provided.

You will be responsible for high-standard maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating contractor works, with a proactive hands-on approach and a focus on accessibility and cleanliness across sites.

• Ensure the school and homes are maintained to a high standard.
• Help keep our sites safe, welcoming, and looking their best.
• Maintain grounds to a great standard and advise site staff.
• Coordinate works undertaken by external contractors as necessary.
• Oversee maintenance works by external contractors, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Support health & safety and audit readiness, maintaining accurate records.
• Take a pro-active, hands-on approach to keep everything running smoothly.
